GATE Exam 2017, Apply here, Exam dates , Application form, syllabus, Exam Pattern : The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level examination conducted by Indian Institution of Science and Seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). The main objective of conducting this exam is to test the aptitude and subjective knowledge of the candidates. The GATE score card helps to get admission in post-graduate programs (eg Master of Engineering, Master of Technology and Doctor of Philosophy) in higher education institutes and the GATE score card also helps to get recruitment in some government and public sector companies. It is one of the most tough competitive exam in India.

Exam Pattern :

  1. The GATE test will be an online test.
  2. The test will be of 100 marks.
  3. There will be a total of 23 subjects to be prepared for GATE
  4. Total of 65 questions will be asked in the Exam. 55 questions will be based on the core subject of Engineering (or any other) and Mathematics. The other 10 questions will be based on aptitude and English.
  5. The 55 questions will be a total of 85 marks and the 10 questions will be of 15 marks.
  6. The questions will be of two types :
  • Multiple Choice Questions and Numerical based Questions.
  • MCQ’s will contains 4 options where as there will be no options in Numerical based questions.

  2. Apply for the GATE Exam.
  3. Then fill the necessary details and upload your scanned latest photographs and signature.
  4. Then pay your application fee.
  5. Also printout the application form for future use.
